Many Herzegovinian Catholics are former Romance language speakers who were Slavicized pretty late, so the Italian-sounding surname might be from there.

We shouldn't make a difference between a Serb and a chetnik, the two are exactly the same thing.

Care to show some proof ?
So called ''Vlachs'' are in 90% of cases Slavophone sheperds, never heard any large Romance-speaking population was present in the area.

You know what I noticed? Long timeeee ago..., how Herzegovian Croats have different surnames than Bosnian Croats considering sound of origin when you read or hear their surname (not all of them but a lot), I mean in general.

There could be some truth in what you're sayin, that about Romance influence on Herzegovian surnames, later on slavicized.

I had a Herzegovian friend with surname Doko, I mean..., they have such surnames, that kind.

P.S. And plz ppl, I would like that we stick on this as professionals here, not some debates who is better than who, just talking about lineage.

I'm not saying this for nationalist reasons or whatever, but Herzegovinian Catholics are recent immigrants into Herzegovina. Ottoman censuses have shown Western Herzegovina to have been majority Muslim for a long time (although rather sparsely populated).

As far as their origin goes, some historians consider West Herzegovinians as Albanians. I know it sounds crazy at first, but they have several points. West Herzegovinians are often called "škutori", not only by Bosniaks, but also by Croats from other regions.
Interestingly, the larges concentration of Catholic Albanians in North Albania is around Lake Scutari.

Second point, the most numerous and famous Albanian Catholic tribe is the tribe Gruda. Yet, interestingly, one of the microcenters of West Herzegovina is called Grude (a border town near Imotski).

Genetically they are the same as other southern Croats and have nothing to do with Albanians.

Haplogroups and genetics have nothing to do with nationality or ethnicity. Hitler was of North African origin, Martin Luther was Balkanite, etc. yet nobody ever considered them as such until 21st century genetical science.

Perfect example of random looking Croat (one of the Croatian regular appearences, 100% croatian vibe), Zlatko Horvat (Handball player):
