Southern Italians and stereotypes

I have seen some people here thinking that southern Italians are a sort of a bunch of swarthies with turkish features, usually relying over many false stereotypes and some Hollywood movies. Then i decided to post some southern italian people, cause i think it is right to post the truth and that an european people should be respected since from those lands came out people like Julius Evola and Archimedes and plus they fight back black immigrants and gipsies better than many other european people who stopped to do it long time ago(if they ever did it..).

I think separating north & south Italians into two separate racial groups is stupid because ever since the Romans connected all of Italy with paved roads, the gene flow between north and south Italy has been huge. & In modern times this sort of mixing is even more extreme than the Roman era because of more reliable forms of transportation. I bet there are thousands of couples in Italy where the husband is f.e. from Calabria and the wife is from Verona because now Italians are not restricted by staying in their village, they can travel and look for mates elsewhere. Italy in 100 years will be a perfect blend of all Italians, north & south.

There are still some differences between north and south italians as i wrote in another threads. Both cultural and phenotypical . My point though was to clear some false myths that S.Italians are all swarthy and arab looking. Southern Italians share many genes with greeks whereas north italians not.
But Greeks are a white people and western world owes a lot to them.

Yes there is much variety. Though i suspect that girl from Sicily that is the only place in Italy(if she is really sicilian and not a tunisian since there are many there) where you can find very few like her, whereas that phenotype is almost inexistant in other parts of S.Italy(and in Sicily as well). The majority of people is like the pics i previously posted, even if in Sicily the red hair are the most common after the dark ones.

Yes, those people are a plague for the image of Italians in Usa, especially of the good southern italians, since many italian americans there are of southern origins.
