Default Your feelings towards different countries

What's your feelings towards different countries? Do you get positive or negative feelings when specific countries are mentioned?

Don't dwell too much on history, race, politics etc. What's your gut feeling?

Neutral to most nations, but I have a special association for the French:

I could swear we have a thread similar to this.
Let these words be as sand in the cogwheels of reason,
as a malign disturbance in the sustainment of universe,
and let each quark of this degenerated microcosm
stand as a citadel of cold and deliberate hatred.
Let there come a glorious error in the patterns of the world.
Let the tainted foundations of reality crumble
and let us hope nothing comes afterwards,
so the gravest of mistakes we all blindly wander in
will finally come to an end.

Aside from my own country, all of Western Europe and most of Eastern Europe. The only places in Europe that sort of give me negative vibes (just off the top of my head) are the Muslim spots found in the Balkans. But I still think positively about the former Yugoslav region as well for the most part. Europe and East Asia have the richest cultures on the planet in my opinion.

The countries that stand out to me are Germany, Austria, Sweden, Italy, Switzerland, and the U.K. (England). I still have never been to Europe, though. I also like Australia and New Zealand. Good surfing in those parts. Cool people in my experience, too.

And just for the hell of it, I'll mention that I have a strong admiration for the Japanese and the Koreans to a lesser extent. I have actually been to Japan and Korea so I have a bit more certainty there.

I feel the exact same way. Skillful workers and strong family/heritage values.

I like these the most (order is irrelevant):

Portugal (not like I have a choice!)
    UK
    Ireland
    France
    Netherlands
    Germany
    Austria
    Greece
    Switzerland
    all Scandinavian countries (Finland included)

All others are neutralish to me, but ofc I like pretty much all European countries more than others, with exception of Canada, which I really like.

I hate the US nowsdays tho, sorry, props for you in the 18th/19th century tho.

Right. It was actually living in Korea that made me more aware of how race and culture are tied together. It's frustrating how much people ignore that in the West. The Asians get this. And yes, they have those values in spades. We need to get ours back.

I have to say that I really like the Japanese in particular because they seem to be the most Western out of the Asian countries. They seem to balance Western individuality with heritage and national culture better than any first world country I have seen. They have no stupid guilt, for one. In that respect, European peoples have something to (re)learn from them. This shouldn't shame whites/Europeans, though. After all, it was the Japanese's willingness to adapt European cultural traits that put them above the rest of Asia the first place.

On face they may seem like that but their sex society is probably the most perverted out of all.
