    Everything on my mom's side and dad's side is mainly from Bulgaria, but some surnames have higher counts in Russia.

    According to the website My surname is present in these countries: France, Israel, United States, Canada, Czech Republic, England, Colombia,Morocco. Most prevalent in France and highest density in Israel.
    It's basically a Sephardic surname, mainly north african sephardi (although I heard about 1 turkish sephardi family with that surname).
