You dont have freedom of speech there just because its allowed to say certain things there. Try to say something about the government for example. They even have their own News channel called Russia today where the reporters are told what to say and what not to say by putin himself

Some of the reporters were fired for saying things that the government did not like or that the reporters themselves did not wanna say. Other people have been reported to of been assasinated. I would not call this free speech.
