Pulevski, one of the heroes of the Macedonists, possibly descends from an Albanian family in north Albania. Obviously were Slavicized, or rather, Bulgarianized.

I have heard this theory that he was Albanian and his name was Gjergj Pulaj, but i don`t know how accurate is this theory. He spoke Albanian. But knowing his role in the history of your country, this is considered an sensitive topic, so probably we will never learn the truth.
