What is "race"

I dont know if its just my impression but "race" is a mystical word here, if its the same race everything is ok then ethnicity, culture, language etc. doesnt matter as long its "the same race" just "dont be racially different" then everything is fine".

so i wondered what race exactly is and i came to this conclusion

race=construct to define physical appearance and genetical makeup based on ancestry like european, african, indian, east asian etc. is that correct?

Races are just ethnic groups except on a grander scale. Like, the differences between ethnic groups of the same race will be minimal compared to the differences between two races.

but how much different you can be to be still of the same race i think thats where the human mind is asked without human definition people couldnt define race, right? its based on genetic similarity and physical characteristics, but its still a construct.

i dont know if everything is a construct, of course black and white skin would still exist without human construct, but there are also midgets and giants are midgets and giants two different races? its relies partly on definition of humans/society but its based loosely on biology, so its both construct and real

I suppose so.

Midgets and Giants may look different but they do not have different genetics (or at least, for the most part) like races. Race is important. A black midget and black giant will be much more alike genetically than a black midget and white giant, for example. Race is more important than height - so I guess it is based off of importance, perhaps?
