Half of my family are Orthodoxes and we came from Montenegro to Bosnia.

Go fap onto Oghuz Fantasies... let me show you Turks:

Genghis Khan (Leader of all Turks), do you look like him? if you have ROUND eyes unlike him.. he wouldn't have spared your life.

This portrait is that of Ogedai, the son of Gengis Khan.
    Mongols aren't Turkic.
That said being Mongol is better than being Balkanite.
I don't care about your Serb family, though your user name contains Bosnia.
Nor any Turk will shape his life or thoughts according to the identity crisis you personally struggle in.
Bosnia was never part of the Byzantine heritage.
It was never Orthodox nor under Byzantine influence.
    End of story.

    Do not embarras yourself

If you know nothing remain silent.

Byzantine Empire never existed... only Roman Empire.

Western Balkans, Bulgaria and Romania produced 40 Thraco-Illyrian Roman Emperos

Those people are Western Balkanites, Bulgarians and Romanians.

Yes they have a lot of Syrians and Armenians, and Greeks on western coast.

Anatolia is very mixed, but not with Turkic people as he imagine.

Not that it would matter anyways, as almost entire Russian intelligentsia was killed off or expelled by Bolsheviks.
Modern Russia is not even an heir of Russian Empire, let alone Byzantium.

Byzantine Structure as well as Rome, came from Both mainland greeks and anatolians.

Ottomans ... they were Byzantines (Romans) before they converted to Islam and Ottoman Persian culture.

All of it matter not. Ottomans filled the same space and continued very same expansionistic and imperialistic policy towards neighbours. It would unwise of them copy proven failure byzantine administration and culture. You better see it as forced takeover of somebody else business and continuation of it by new "owner". Todays Turkey still fill most balkan-anatolian (including center) space and try to wage imperialistic policy.

Ottomans were (at least paternally) Turkic

Screw you, I'm the least OWD guy on this forum, and yes I also acknowledge the cultural influence of Iran (which also influenced Byzantine) but Turkey or Ottomans was not the successor of Sassanids, but of Byzantine.
