I have been to Bari ,Brindisi , Pompeii , Sicily in the South and wanted to shout " I am Spartacus " all the time .

My favorite place is Trento Alto Adige / Tuscany ; I totally felt home while feasting on Alps .

If I move back to Europe ; I would totally go for Italy .

I thought that it was impressive all around ; it reminded me South Western Turkey a bit but hotter and dryer.

As for Cultural similarities ; it is Mediterrenean so it wasn't that difficult . Everyone thought that I was an Italian and spoke in Italian to me .

I can't really converse in Italian unfortunately so I tried my tongue at Latin a bit with hilarious results .



On the whole I liked Italian Culture in the South more than I liked it in North . I found people in the North equally warm and friendly but initially more reserved somewhat .

Northeast Anatolia/Eastern Black Sea region seems to have little-to-none Central Asian/Turkic admixture due to several historical reasons, Turks from this region are usually outliers and tend to be closer to native peoples of South Caucasus and Eastern Black Sea (such as Laz people) than to Turks from the rest of Anatolia.

Are you sure my friend? My ancestors from Karakoc village of Erzurum(near to border Bayburt-Erzurum) and especially they classifying me Pontid+Turanid or Turanid+Alpinid.
