    That type of food is foreign in Hong Kong. Most Cantonese people wouldn't recognize it as Chinese food. You can find it easily in Beijing as there is a huge Northwestern Hui Muslim community there, especially in the neighborhood around Niujie mosque. But the place you will definitely find it, is where it's from, Xi'an. Which is a major historic city, you can tour the ancient city walls and the terracotta warriors there.

    Though Northern Chinese food has many elements greatly similar, but more flavorful and richer than Mongolian cuisine, because there aren't many vegetables or ingredients on the steppes. Same issue with Tibetan food, it isn't that great, because of the rough terrain.
