I dont remember. I only ate there a few times. They didnt look like regular cantonese people to me but you never know.
I had some mongol beef where they fry it for you and you can add vegetables, and theres a thing where you can make your own soup also and add different kinds of stuff to it. It was in virginia state.
I dont know if it was 100 % authentic but it was dam good.

Those are just Chinese people dude. LOL
Real Mongol food is like this, I've had it in Beijing.
Boiled lamb
Dumplings
Though Northern Chinese food has many elements greatly similar, but more flavorful and richer than Mongolian cuisine, because there aren't many vegetables or ingredients on the steppes. Same issue with Tibetan food, it isn't that great, because of the rough terrain.
Typical Beijing Hot Pot spread with sliced high quality beef and lamb

If you ever go to China, make sure to go to the Moslem quarter in Xi'an, they have a huge street with nothing but halal food stalls, and it is usually very packed. You get to try all types of local Chinese Muslim specialties. The famous Xi'an mosque is located about 10 minutes from that street, it was built in the 7th century! It's almost as old as Islam itself, because it was the first mosque to be built when Muslim traders arrived at Chang'an (Xi'an's old name), the capital of the Tang Empire.

Will do. I do wanna go to China one day. It seems to be a very majestic and strange place to me. I wonder how Mongolian food must be like? I imagine that a lot of them drink mare's milk or something. I want to see my nomadic east-Asian brethren, the Mongols and Manchurians, in northern China, rofl. Xinjiang has a cool desert environment as well.
