Most jews these days are not religious. If you did believe they exist and not jesus you'd have to be pretty retarded though. You have to be pretty retarded to think Jesus did not exist as a historical person regardless.

With earlier bible figures any proof is pretty much wholly contained in the bible with no outside reference, but I doubt that means they didn't exist in some form even if the bible is not true.

Even Mediteranean Polytheism had its roots from elsewhere. You do not need to be a scholar to determine the genesis in New Testament is polytheistic in nature. A moral code for love and decency is not a bad thing and yes I strongly believe Jesus Christ in fact existed and he was a good man that preached love. I do not know whether he was the son of God - but the preaching of love is good enough to follow and study him.
