tfw you find out Christianity is apparently bullshit and you're not going to Heaven because it doesn't exist
tbh though I'm pretty sure Jesus existed and everything. In all honesty I'm not really buying this syncretism stuff. Seems fishy.

The true theism should help with avoiding petty superstition, and uphold ethical secular lifestyle. I do not care about the connection anymore, because I am not a hindi, neither a practitioner of Egyptian cult, cults without universally applicable ethics are all superstition for me. People should be sticking to civil responsibilities first, because the nation itself is the creation of the theism. Petty superstition is an unnecessary distraction from our most vital responsibilities. Plato did not write a book on religion for a good reason, we are not supposed to bother with rituals in the civilized society, what we are really obliged to educate ourself is what he and many of his fellow philosophers wrote down for the posterity, be concerned with the state, peoples well-being, and fostering ourself a sound reasoning mind.
