Not sure what to make of the results I've posted on this thread. I know I get small levels of African on
the calculators (mostly North African) which is probably 99% noise and my father gets 0% for African on a lot of the calculators.

They either did not have English samples for the k12b or the Dutch are closer to the English people than I thought. Your dad is definitely giving off continental vibes.

There is no iberian samples in that run, in fact there's only 4 europeans (Siciliy, Greek, Russian, Norwegian)...so the only way to fit your ancestry is by mixing sicilian with Norwegian, still very inaccurate of course.

Way too broad, IMO. The Greeks and Fyromians are still quite distant if we look at MDLP results with regional samples. We cluster with Bulgarians and Romanians, then Albanians, and finally Greeks. We're more Central Balkan/Daco-Thracian with Illyrian/Albanian coming second, and Hellenic influence last. Slavic influence is more significant in north Serbia and onward. South Serbs are Slavicized Illyro-Thracians with minimal Slavic genetic residue compared to north Serbs.

Probably because many Slav migrants died in the ceaseless wars from the migration to the endless wars with the Byzantines thereby seriously reducing the Slavic influence on Central South Balkans compared to the Serbs or Croats.
