What's the darkest and the whitest ethnicity you've been mistaken for?

Online I was also told philipino and samoan and hispanic and mesoamerican. In real life the guesses were less diverse, probably depends on the society/background, online there are lots of people from all over the world, while in austria there are only certain ethnicities and mostly austrians. The whitest in real life i was told is that im native austrian by austrians. They said i dont look like a foreigner or that they thought im a austrian.

I'm a rare one that had been mistaken for something kinda dark (half pakistani half Swedish) and something super white (Swedish). One would think it isn't possible, but it is lol.

I've gotten mistaken for hispanic a few times too, but I usually take those guesses with a grain of salt, because "hispanic" can look like a lot of things. I would guess you as South European before sri Lankan or somoan.

I was mistaken for meso-american though for someone with lots of dark central american blood, that what I was told. They said "mexican the kind with lots of mesoamerican blood" or just simply mesoamerican. I think I dont look like that, but its pointless to argue. Well we are all humans, so it doesnt matter.

I don't think you look like it, but I see how you could get that vibe. When I got mistaken for hispanic people said Argentinian, Venezuelan, and that kind of stuff. I even got Colombian once and I thought that was cool. I've never got mexican though.

I had a girl guess my ethnicity for like 10 minutes once. She started with like Polish, Scottish, etc, but after like 5 European guesses, she started guessing Latin countries, then more European countries. Never anything MENA.

One Colombian girl said I look Peruvian or Bolivian. I was told many things online. In real life here in austria no one knows what latinos are, they are very rare here.
