Why does your family hate you? Maybe it's not bad as you think. I know how you feel. I was mentally drained during my previous semester of college, and I was hanging around negative people who took advantage of the things I would do for them and put me down at the same time. That along with my undiagnosed conditions made life a living hell. I take meds now and have better friends, it helps, and it does get better. I think you need to take a deep breath and realize that you are still very young. You have a lot of life to experience, and at your age you aren't in control as much as you will be one day. Stay with people who make you happy and understand you. It doesn't matter if it's in real life or even people here on TA that you connect with, surround yourself by positive people.
If you start out by surrounding yourself around people who are nice to you you'll learn how to connect with those outside of your comfort zone eventually.
Family can be tough because you have to live with them. Everyone has family issues every now and then, youre not alone, bud. But if the issues are really bad, I'd say stay around positive family members and remember your future will be here sooner than you think.

You have your health and your life. Next step is to live it. Go out there and be yourself and don't have such a negative view. People will love you and hate you. Don't ever let that affect who you are.
