this is in my region - Гуцульщина. now it's winter again, it snows since last week here in the Romanian side of Гуцульщина

Here where I live, the first snowfalls start usually around December, but sometimes they start in November or even by the end of October. It all depends on the year. This year, right now, it gets very cool at night, but still not below freezing.

We're still in our Autumn season in England. The Celtic Pagan and nature festival of Halloween/new year is approaching here in the natural calendar, when the light and dark hours are equal to each other.

It's very atmospheric for the Halloween festival with the grey and dark misty weather around the end of October.

Our Winter season isn't here yet. Snow usually starts here around Yuletide/Winter Solstice in December.

I like all four seasons, but Autumn and Winter are my favourite. I love the serenity and tranquil atmosphere of Winter, romantic and cosy log-fires, and knowing that the cycle of nature will return with new life waiting under the snow that will emerge again in Spring.

I like all four seasons too. The fall colors on here, are spectacular . And I like when it snows in winter, though eventually i get tired of it, and I cannot wait more for the spring to come.

But the summer is my favorite one.

There is the same moment every year, during the Winter. I sleep, dreaming about something completely irrelevant, and wake up. I think a bit about the day and what to do, I check time and stand up. First thing what I do after standing up is approaching the window to uncover the roller blind - then I notice the snow. I look on the whiteness that surrounds me and the very first thing which comes to my mind is "kurwa...". And I go downstairs to make a coffee.
