I'm quite curious what is the Federal Germany's official stance on Prussia. While I know that present-day Germany is in essence, neutered but I never really found out what was Germany's official position on lands like Prussia.

Ah, I see. So that's it, huh? Seems a bit hard to believe if you ask me.

Not really. If Germany were to be seen as having expansionist ambitions after two major wars in which it has been cast as the aggressor, they'd be kicked back into political oblivion without a moment's hesitation.

Maybe. I just find it hard to believe that Germany isn't likely to regain control of that region. The region is pretty important to Germany because the Prussians essentially made Germany what it was and is. I would like to note that Germany doesn't necessarily have to claim all of Prussia which both Russia and Poland control but rather just Kaliningrad. Have we ever seen a treaty between Germany and Russia similar to the treaty between Germany and Poland?

Not aware of any German-Russian accords on the matter, but it wouldn't make much difference either way. The Oblast is more than 90% Slavic and less than 1% German and the Russian Federation has no intention of ceding it voluntarily.

Of course not but it'll make for some interesting event should a nationalist or something close take the elections by storm.

Hehe. If they start WWIII, they'd better win it, or they likely won't survive to see a fourth war.

European nationalists should make (contraceptionless) love, not war.

Looking at a map that little enclave of Russia is a major anomoly, surrounded by EU states. If Europe is to have secure borders it will need to retake that land, though since hardly any Germans live there any more I see no reason to give it back to them.

The same applies to European Turkey.
