I think lots of women are more bi-curious rather than bisexual. Sexuality does not divide neatly into three categories, it's a spectrum. However, it is and always has been more socially acceptable for a girl to express this than a guy; to take one notable example, lesbianism never has been illegal, unlike male homosexuality.

Women are bicurious naturally but most of them are not bisexual. I used to be with an actual bisexual woman and she described how many women said that they could imagine being with another woman, but when it got down to actually doing it they lost interest.

Women love to talk basically and whatever is trendy they like to cling to it. If anyone uses Tinder or Badoo you will notice lots of those "Bisexual" women.

Don't think bisexuality is a genetic predisposition, more like an artificial disorder created by having all your moral failsafes breached. Since morality to women is nothing more than just a necessity of being conformist, makes sense that they would be more prone to abandoning it the moment social pressure drops.

One thing I noticed it's most of girls aren't ashamed of saying "She's pretty", while most of guys are ashamed of saying "He's handsome". I think it's mostly because lesbianism isn't nearly condemned by the society as male homossexuality. I have seen homophobia occurs against males a lot of times, but a few times against females.
