Dugin the advisor of Putin officially declared today that Russia prevented Turkey coup as they warned Turkey officials one day before the attempt. So what Turkish medias said after the coup day was true.
Fetö officers together with pro-American liberal officers like all Albanian-Makedonian officers organized a coup in Turkey. The Turkish intelligence service didnt have any information as they were sleeping but spies of Russia inside Turkey army and state informed a few days before attempt the Turkish authorities so coup is prevented.

Nah. The coup was a staged event and both the Turkish and US governments were in on it. The Russians may have had information about it, but I think rather than being prevented, it went to plan.

I say both are in for some trouble long term, but that the end result will be worse for Iran than Turkey. Turkey might lose its Kurdish south east, for example, whereas Iran could end up being reduced to a rump territory devoid of significant oil and gas reserves.
