That southern Europeans have subsaharan ancestry has been debunked by Patterson et al paper while the fact that all Europeans have ancient East Eurasian ancestry ( average is 10% ) is true ( which peaks in northeastern Europe in Finns and Northern Russians at 20% ).
Reserchers who previously concluded that southern Europeans have subsaharan anestry (except maybe one European nation I do not want to name where the admixture is much less than thought) were led by wrong premise that Northen Europeans are not admixed in any way and took them as a reference.
This east eurasian ancestry is not East Asian but something more like Amerindian or Syberian like if I recall correctly from Dienekes page.
