Well, first off Egyptians were semites.



The egyptians coming to canaan is how the bronze age came there and also how the first certain semitic influence came. It's also pretty certain that there was no semitic language developed yet until the bronze age came, period. but it came earlier in Sumeria and Egypt by far than it did in the levant.

Sumerians and assyrians started off speaking sumerian. The akkadian empire is when they came to speak semitic. It was they and the egyptians who spread it around. Probably what happened is that the arabs became semitized by the egyptians (arabic apparently is a lot younger) then they slowly gained more inroads on the sumerians through raiding and eventually took the whole area over and the semitized jews and phoenicians fled westwards into the levant.

According to the book of Jasher, Angeas (Aegeus) ruled also over Africa and his brother Lucus (Lycos) the king of Sardinia fought the Chittim (Italians) in a dispute over who would marry Jania (Juno) the daughter of Uzo from the city of Puzimna because Turnus (Saturnus) the king of the Chittim (Italians) of Bibentu wanted Jania (Juno) for his wife also as well as Angeas (Aegeus).

From the Roman kings list it is clear that Turnus is Cretan king Saturnus who ruled from about 1292 to 1275 BC and this about that time that the book of Jasher places the battle, a short time before 1262 BC. From Greek historical records Aegeus is known to have rulled in Athens from 1282 to 1234 BC and he was also the brother of Lycus who when he expelled him from Athens in about 1240 BC he became king of the Lycians in Asia-Minor.

Angeas (Aegeus) and Lucus (Lycos) win the crucial battle and kill Turnus (Saturnus) somewhere between the cities of Alphanu and Romah (Rome).

Zepho (Zepheros) the General of Angeas (Aegeus) then defects from him because Angeas (Aegeus) would not fight the Egyptians because it was predicted he would lose, and joins the Italians. After Angeas (Aegeus) keeps raiding the Italians they make Zepho (Zepheros) their king in 1269 BC and he defeats Angeas (Aegeus) and his son Azdrubal in about 1242 BC and then makes war on Egypt and is pushed back by the Israelites who then attack the Egyptians for betraying them.

1269 BC is the date which the Parian Marble places the famine in Athens which was only ended when when Aegues was told by the Delphic oracle to promise king Minos whatever penalty he should think right.

Theseus succeeds Aegeus in 1234 BC according to Jerome.

Zepho (Zepheros) is succeded by Janaeus (Faunus) in 1233 BC and Janaeus by Latinus in 1208 BC and goes to fight Azdrubal the son of Angeas (Aegeus) in 1207 BC and kills him. This is about the time when Thesus the son of Aegeus dies accoding to Jerome in 1204 BC. Azdrubal is then succeded by his brother Anibal who kicks out the Italians and reigns in Africa at just about the time when Virgil places Baal the father of Pygmalion as king of Tyre.

It looks quite likely that the book of Jesher was compiled from the records of the Carthaginians, who rather than being Phoenicians were originally Greeks and Romans who were replaced by the Phoenicians after the Trojan War.

Defied means someone who was given the title of God, and God means a disposer and nothing more. It does not imply mystical powers, or omnisentience and omnipotence, it just means a disposer.

The historical definition of a God/Theos is given by Herodotus. It is a disposer, someone who has done something to benefit mankind, such as teaching them to farm the land, work metal, make weapons, build cities, make music, read and write, make wine, dance, medicine, science, philosophy and so on. A God was a bringer of civilisation.

A God was a lord. A man was a man. Look at how the word God or the name of 
each particular God is translated as Lord in the bible.

Most of these bringers of civilization i.e Gods were Greeks. So you see the Greek Gods were worshipped with local names as far as India. We know for example that Zeus, Uranus and many other Gods that exist in other nations pantheons were of Greek origin, because they were born in Greece and the mausoleums and tombs existed in Greece.

For instance, we know from Ancient writers like Diodorus and Eusebius, that Zeus the son of Kronos was the ruler of the whole world. The Hyskos king list provides historical evidence for the basis of
 Zeus being regarded as the king of the whole world including Egypt.

According to Diodorus and all other historians Zeus was the ruler of the whole world. He ruled from Europe to India. Zeus is given in Egyptian kings lists and inscriptions and Sheshi. This name corresponds to the Minoan king Saasitepi (Ausstaeb/Istaveon).

Zeus is a corruption of the Proto-Greek Sdiwi-os/on. Proto-Greek existed in the time of the Minoans. Sdiwi-os/on is the same as Istaveon which is the same as Ausstaeb which is the same as Saasitepi which is the same as Sheshi. Zeus' existence is confirmed. The account of the flood of in the Gilgamesh saga only appears as an extra tablet appended to the Babylonian account and was not composed until 1600 BC after the Thera Eruption. The Babylonians copied the Greek account of the first Deukalion flood as did the Jews.

The temple was a striking structure of white marble, two plethora in length and the width proportionate to the length; it was supported by large and thick columns and decorated at intervals with reliefs of ingenious design; and there were also remarkable statues of the gods, exceptional in skill of execution and admired by men for their massiveness.
Around about the temple the priests who served the gods had their dwellings, and the management of everything pertaining to the sacred precinct was in their hands.

Leading from the temple an avenue had been constructed, four stades in length and a plethrum in width. On each side of the avenue are great bronze vessels which rest upon square bases, and at the end of the avenue the river we mentioned above has its sources, which pour forth in a turbulent stream. The water of the stream is exceedingly clear and sweet and the use of it is most conductive to the health of the body; and the river bears the name ‘Water of the Sun.’ The entire spring is surrounded by an expensive stone quay, which extends along each side of it four stades, and no man except the priests may set foot upon the place up to the edge of the quay.

The plain lying below the temple has been made sacred to the gods, for a distance of two hundred stades, and the revenues which are derived from it are used to support the sacrifices. For the myth relates that in ancient times, when Ouranos (Uranus) was king of the inhabited earth, he took pleasure in tarrying in that place and in surveying from its lofty top both the heavens and the stars therein, and that at a later time it came to be called Triphylian (Of Three Tribes) Olympos because the men who dwelt about it were composed of three peoples; these namely, were known as Pankhaioi (Panchaeans), Okeanites, and Doians, who were expelled at a later time by Ammon [i.e. a Libyan god which the Greeks described as an African Zeus.] For Ammon, men say, not only drove this nation into exile but also totally destroyed their cities, razing to the ground both Doia and Asterusia. And once year, we are told, the priests hold a sacrifice in this mountain with great solemnity.

The men are warlike and use chariots in battle after the ancient manner. And as for the priests, they far excel the rest in luxury and in every other refinement and elegance of their manner of life; so, for instance, their robes are of linen and exceptionally sheer and soft, and at times they wear garments woven of the softest wool; furthermore, their headdress is interwoven with gold, their foot-gear consists of sandals which are of varied colours and ingeniously worked, and they wear the same gold ornaments as do the women, with the exception of the earrings. According to the myth which the priests give, the gods had their origin in Krete (Crete), and were led by Zeus to Pankhaia at the time when he sojourned among men and was king of the inhabited earth. The word Hyksos is a corruption of the word Ekwesh and means Achaeans. Hysos Pharaoh Apepi I was the Greek Epaphus who the Egyptians recognised and worshiped as a Greek God. Herodotus makes it clear that Epaphuis was the Greek version of Apis.
