I will post some genetic tests that gave results for self classified whites. I think its pretty interesting to see in what ancestry ranges latin americans identify as white. Will try to put the quantity of AIM's used as i know that can change the results


Study 1 Cuba

Whites are on average 86% European 6.7% African and 7.8% Native American
Whites range from 65% European to 99% European
75% of whites are over 80% European
Half of whites are over 88% European

Whites range from 0% African to 13% African
75% of whites are under 8% African

There are Cubans with 30% Amerindian??? Wow. Never would guess. Or Cubans with 80% SSA thinking they are white??

Those are outliers. Very rare examples in the whole sample.

The most important info would be the 3/4 of the white sample

I think that altough "whites" are not 100% euro, they are strongly leaning towards the european side

They likely look white, but someone admitting to 14% nonwhite in the US would not be considered white.

So this means to say that someone 48% european was claiming to be white?

In that Brazilian test 75% of whites were over 70% european. You are paying attentio to A MINORITY whitin the white sample

That is self identification. No one actually considers them white other than themselves.
