Probably you think that because of your Buddhist Background. And Tibetan Buddhism also worships ancient Chinese Gods. You told me you have now a favourite God (the God of money) you got him when you were in China, right? If you believed in a monotheistic allmighty universal God you would not think that, probably.

Tibetan Buddhism is more a combination of the traditional Tibetan religion of Bon combined with traditional Buddhism. Tibetans do not worship Chinese gods, but there are many gods which are shared in between Tibetan and Chinese buddhism.

My family is said by clairvoyants to be descendents of an anicent wizard, by our tradition we should not eat mutton and beef in order to preserve his spirit that guards his descendents, I obey the instruction out of relatively higher consciousness toward cutting off meat diet, for health and many other reasons. I know that mutton and beef are highly nutritious and more nourishing than pork, but there are higher chances to ingest growth hormone from beef than from pork. It seems interesting since my family tradition is the opposite of the Islam, we have to adore the pork and avoid mutton and beef. However, we are allow to eat them outside our houses at very low frequency, once or twice a year maybe, but I am not interested in mutton and beef either.

European heathenry is already incorporated in christianity, which is a cosmopolitan religion combining many cultural elements. By rural heathenry, a tribe does not know what another neighboring tribe worships before they clash and kill each other, in a short word, nobody care about small heathenry, it is destined to be forgotten as a religion, neverthless heathenry can be beautiful like greek or japanese myths, there are also ugly heathenry like voodoo,tribalism,confucianism and communism, you see it has to do with politics, today heathenry is a mostly matter of sociological or political science, it is free for anyone to appreciate heanthenry as long as one follow social or political obligations as a modern citizen. My suggestion is, if you are into ancestral heathenry, just to incorporate some nice elements into your personal life will be fine just like me restraining myself from mutton and beef, however, the religious devotion is really unnecessary and so is the delusion that heanthenry will change the world for better.
