man, please. why this hatred? not that i surveys people but i never saw a single turkish people with slight of negative thoughts about georgians. never read about it either. i dont know about historical example you gave but i seen few misportrayels by you before. maybe teasing or exaggration in that context.. im posting some songs and you are telling me about what not else. you may or not like the president but his ethnichity make you take action against all georgians? i dont want to believe this is what you think. i know you live in area where georgians and other kartvelians live too. im sorry if you have negative personal thoughts -- its sad when some one lives with people he doesnt like. i hope things will be good for every one. but once and for all caucasian and balkan populations in turkey are very pride turks and turkish nationalists as they are part of the nation. i have no respect for people whos not loyal to their country of citizenship or people speaking bad of the country they live. unless its an extreme country.. no country is perfect. you can speak bad of its politics, some policy maybe but not the whole country and people. even when its about politics that you really hate you dont do it here but in your household, discuss with other turks. as to other i just mentioned about their loyalty..while this is case if you try to mislabeling them on eyes of people with no idea about your country that would be very disrespectful to turkish nation. i just saw you call your country «chaotic banana republic». is it so? you refer other country or thats the tree words you define your own country on such forum? no man, thats not you. ill not believe this is what you truly thinks.

every culture is unique but you see georgians as culturally close to you rather than other europe as user witness says? sorry for asking this but i wonder. religion, language, national costumes, dances, music, food, politics, idk what else to consider. out of all cultures in the world whats the first thing comes to your mind when speaking of georgians. to me i know they are closer to russians but considering political tensions i would say they are closer to other like ukrainians circassians (also to abkhazians except again political tensions) and some other north caucasians but not to others in south caucasus. a soviet heritage, russophones, eastern orthodox christianity (european one, not other church of christianity unlike south neighbors), mentality.. even chveneburi or laz ones living in turkey are closer to them.

and even though i think i have good knowledge about georgians (other wise i dont dare to create a thread) i apologize georgians that im asking questions on behalf of them and making my assumptions discussing all these.
