I live in Stadi and use many other Helsinki slang words, even though I hardly speak Swedish proper at all.

Helsinki slang is colloquial Finnish with Swedish, German, Russian, English and even Yiddish superstrata. Speaking it has nothing to do with being a wannabe-Swede.

I have known some Helsinki slang for years now, including the word Stadi and its definition. I wouldn't call anyone a wannabe-Swede for just using slang, but I do not want to ruin this thread with personal disputes. I have been posting on a number of similar forums for about 5 years and I have never had the reason to call any Finn a "wannabe-Swede". There's a number of reasons why I did use this term, but let's leave it here.
