What ethnicities have you been mistaken for that just don't make sense to you?

Like an ethnicity you think you don't look at all. For me, jews tend to think I'm a jew, too. Last week I was over my friends house and she said her jewish housemate asked her if I was a jew. I've also had two italian americans tell me I look italian before, and I don't see that either. The last one is British. But I just think that in America, if you look white, you're gonna be mistaken for English at least once.

If you are strict I dont look like any other ethnicity then what I am, so all the things I have been mistaken as are wrong its just a matter of degree of wrongness. Im not sure, I think philipino made the least sense, because I think Philipinos like look like the President Duerte.

A handful of people online said that I could pass in some parts of Northeast-India..Doesn't really make 100% sense to me, only partial sense, which is probably due to my ignorance of Northeast-India/Northeast-Indians.

the only time someone told me something about what I look like in real life, happened recently in a bus station when I was talking with a mexican pilgrim, he told me I look argentinian, also he lived there for while... not saying argentina is a very heterogeneous country like Brazil, but comparison with new world countries doesn't makes sense for me (except countries like Bolivia).

NE Indians vary a lot from region to region, some can look like mainstream Indians too.

Are you a ginger or something? A lot of gingers get mistaken for irish because of their red hair.
