    Default Eternal Return (Nietzsche)

What do you think about the Eternal Return? Did Nietzsche really thought that everything happens again and again or was it just wishfull thinking?

I am not yet fully familiar with all his major theorems, even though I admire his thinking greatly, but I would doubt that someone with his greatly skeptical and critical thought process would embrace an idea as mystical and full of religious esotericism as the "eternal return".

Nietzsche was rather skeptical of many things, but not a total skeptic. He bashed skeptics for not being decisive enough to exercise their will to power.

There is a certain spiritual aspect to his philosophy that mainstream (especially leftists) academics ignore.
