Greece is geographically very different from the rest of the Balkans,it's a coastal country with many islands.A tourist in Greece would immediately feel of being in southern Europe and not in the Balkans.

Albania never had historical relationships with Yugoslavs. Even during the cold war, Yugoslavia had better relations with the west than with Albania. On the other hand Greece has and has had better relations with them.
To be fair, Albania should stand on it's own, it has always been on its own, even during the cold war.
