Mexicans think of blacks just as any other latino americans do; they´re just mere animals. They still retain that south american colonial mentality, in which according the caste system established by the iberians the whiter you are the more social privileges you can access to. In that conjuncture of affairs negros always have been ocuppied nothing but a place way below the most illiterate, lamest and stinkiest amerindian beggar.

If I were to hazard a guess Id say that the number of mexicans who have no qualms in breed with blacks isn´t significantly higher than the american whites who would do the same. Political wise its another story.

Yes most middle-upper class Mexicans (what the upper classes do is always a good social indicator for everyone aspires to be them) look down on blacks. They try to integrate and mold into the white culture and mentality in respect to anti-black sentiment as much as possible if not more critically so.

In a very real sense a successful minority in the U.S. (rarely a black anyways) has to be even more anti-black than whites so as to assure their legitimacy and social standing in what they think/believe (rightly so) is what whites believe behind closed doors.

Ever hear about how America will soon be going from a "White versus Non-White" society to a "Non-Black versus Black" society? That seems to be one of the leading theories on future race relations in the US. Blacks will be stuck at the bottom while the rest slowly blend together.

I doubt it. It will be more, borderland Hispanics vs. whites everywhere else. Hispanics only integrate with whites when they move away from the borderlands, i.e. American Southwest.

There are tons of Mexicans that live outside the Southwest. And we also have to take into consideration the numbers of Asians and Indians that seem to marry outside their groups.

Mexicans are much different than East Asians and Indians, though, because they generally are in completely different socioeconomic categories. People marry and reproduce within their educational and economic levels; simple truth is that Mexican immigrants are educationally and economically too low to be possible mates for most whites.

There may also be tons of Mexicans that live outside the Southwest, and these ones will probably integrate, but the bulk of Hispanics live in the Southwest, and maintain linguistic/cultural ties with Mexico.

^ God, I hope not (in reference to black vs. non-black paradigms). That would be the end of a high white standard of living. The spics are not white enough to be on our side in any real way. They act like niggers, too, in many ways. I think it will be a no-holds barred triple threat match!

I can tell you the Protestant/evangelical white community will never accept the Catholic dark-skinned Mexicans on any real level. If you notice all the respected Mexicans such as the one in the broadcast are all more white looking. This is not a coincidence.

I was about to say the same thing, but yes, this is a reality. Culture and socioeconomic status is a reflection of race. Most of the Mexicans are basically Amerindian, but there are some who are mostly white, and these will be the ones to integrate with whites.

And there are some criolle mexicans who are completely white as well, but they only represent the 9% of mexican population and live isolated in the rich south of the country. You very rarely will see one of those stepping on the states unless they have some big business there.

There are even a negligible black population in Mexico. I wonde how the american blacks feel about the black latinos of Cuba or Ecuador who are very in touch with their roots, do they consider them of their own?

I don't know, but they probably do. Black Americans usually claim Bob Marley and Jamaican culture as being theres, as well as African cultural traditions etc. The real question is, would the Black latinos want to associate with Black Americans?
