Is the United States the freest country in the world?

Obviously most third and second world countries can't compete as you can't insult the ruling class and such without getting arrested at the least. However,these countries tend not to give a fuck about things like public urination or gun control(depending).
Europe is falsely held to the standard of being the "freest" and having the "freest press" but I think that's bullshit.
The Press Freedom Index is lying because they have laws against hate speech and such in most,if not all,European countries.
Compare this to the US. I can call Obama a nigger/jew/muslim all I want and no one is gonna come knocking on my door. It's perfectly legal for the KKK and other groups to hold rallies because forbidding them would violate the First Amendment. In fact,even TA is hosted in the US. Beyond that. For instance, most people I knew growing up had guns in their houses and there's a lot of armed militias in the west of the country. Would that fly in Europe?

Most free large country. But I think countries like New Zealand, Australia, Switzerland might come out ahead overall.

I lived a few months in NYC. The people there literally lived to work and their main concern and goal was always the money. How can you be free when you are so tied to consumerism and money? You are just part of a system that tells you what to do.

If we were so brainwashed, how come americans are so diverse in terms of personality? There is propaganda everywhere, but america allows all views to be broadcasted, it is up to the person which one they choose to be influenced by. However, I will admit, politically correctness has influence on us, but not as much as other countries.
