There are poisonous skanes and spiders but not much (when compared to places such as Australia or Southeast Asia, f.e). My father and his 9 brothers grew up in a farm in rural Brazil and they were never hit by anything. Brazil does not have tornadoes (at any significant rate), nor earthquakes. We are earthquakes free.

I know some guys who studied Medicine there and had some fun. Some of them even brought back wives and sons. I agree that Argentina, Paraguay and Uruguay are better than Bolivia. In South America I have been to Argentina, Uruguay and Paraguay. And I surely would opt for one of these countries instead of for countries in Europe. Argentina has many more resources, it is not crowded with people, and one can live a fairly nice life there.

Maybe, just maybe, it's because a lot of us cannot speak Spanish? I know I can't speak Spanish. Also, we're born here.
I know a Chilean-American Guy. He thinks that Chile can do no wrong and praises Chile constantly. Guess what? He's never moving to Chile, bud.
It isn't just Mexican-Americans that talk like that. A lot of recent immigrant people talk like that. My Polish-American friend thinks that Poland is the shit. My Portuguese-American thinks Portugal is the best nation in the world. And, my Japanese-American friend thinks Japan is far superior to any other nation.

Yes, but the snakes and massive spiders there are highly venomous types that can harm or even kill people. They're not like the totally harmless grass snakes we have here and like our harmless tiny little spiders here. Spiders in Brazil are so venomous that they can bite and even kill a person.
So if you have no dangerous types of mosquitoes in Brazil, then why has there been so many international news reports over the last year about the Zika Virus in Brazil and the alarming number of babies being born in Brazil with suspected microcephaly or abnormally small heads since October, which has now reached nearly 4,000?!

Pregnant females are still being warned not to travel to Brazil by health experts due to the Zika Virus in Brazil causing loads of babies to be born with small heads?!Because Zika virus is primarily spread by mosquitoes, CDC recommends that travellers to Brazil protect themselves from mosquito bites.
http://wwwnc.cdc.gov/travel/notices/...a-virus-brazilA pregnant woman can pass Zika virus to her fetus. Infection during pregnancy can cause serious birth defects. CDC recommends special precautions for the following groups:
Women who are pregnant:
Should not travel to any area of Brazil below 6,500 feet (see map).
If you must travel to one of these areas, talk to your doctor first and strictly follow steps to prevent mosquito bites during your trip.

Indeed, you hear more about Tornadoes in North America (specially here, in the Midwest, where I live) than anywhere in South America.
And even living in the North American Midwest, I have never faced any tornado (at least directly, except for some eventual tornado alarm without actually seeing the tornado itself). Go and figure.
