I always loved Japan, but respected Asian nations I dare say far more than any European nations. My admiration and interest in Japanese culture, language, came from a young age. Since I lived in Mideast in my young years I grew up on anime as pastime cartoons, as American cartoons were barely bought and dubbed unlike the animes. Then I did a project on Japan's culture in high school and did quite well on it. I am still an anime fan and Pokemon fan to. The language always sounded soft and soothing. This also lead me to study other Asian cultures in particular China and India which both have influenced Japan.

sounds better than Mandarin, Cantonese or Korean to me but sometimes it sounds harsh in a samurai kind of way expecially when spoken by men with a deep voice.

I still watch animes, the general quality of animes is getting better these years, japanese simply sounds pleasant to me. Cantonese sounds foul and vile like bushmen or cannabalistic papuan languages, I feel awry how people of homo sapien sapien family can speak this kind of neanderthalic tongue. I hate cantonese tongues, mandarin has spaces to be polished, but currently with peoples culture supplanted with marxist filth, our literature is corrupted, mandarin is like chinese food, awaiting to be further polish up.

I agree that Cantonese is a pretty horrible sounding language. Standard Mandarin sounds very smooth in comparison.
