Here are my two favorite flowers in order I like them in best.

1) Lilies of all colors (Every birthday I get lilies because it's a tradition and other reasons)

2) Roses of all colors (Given to me every Valentine's Day and Anniversary by my fiance because a tradition too (10 years he's been doing it now). And usually with one lily in the bouquet of roses.

My favorite flower is the Yellow Calla Lily. The story behind why this is my favorite flower: My father loves to garden and he regularly plants flowers and trees in memory or in honor of people. In honor of my fifth birthday, he planted a yellow calla lily. Each fall, we would dig up the bulb and store it in the basement in a paper bag with some peat moss until the next the spring. I still have my beautiful Calla Lily, now stored for the winter.
