That was not the Titanic that sank.It was Olympic.

Titanic sailed a healthy course way until 1935.

The older and more aged sister ship Olympic was disguised as the Titanic(which wasn't hard to do,the two ships were completely identical) and was sunk on purpose in an insurance fraud. The Olympic was already years away from failing and needing to be scrapped, which would produce much less money than what the insurance would give if it were to accidentaly sink.

The captain of the so called "Titanic" was instructed to purposely drive the ship into dangerous waters and slide it past an iceberg to buy as much time possible for the passengers to escape(that didn't work out well,as the iceberg did much more damage than planned). The Carphatia being magically close was also staged, the ship was instructed to be there to pick up the passengers.

The real Titanic then sailed years later under the name Olympic earning the nickname "Old Reliable" which was given due to the ship's outstanding condition for its age(Which was fake).

    https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/MS_München

MS München was a German LASH carrier of the Hapag-Lloyd line that sank with all hands for unknown reasons in a severe storm in December 1978.

The most accepted theory is that one or more rogue waves hit the München and damaged her, so that she drifted for 33 hours with a list of 50 degrees without electricity or propulsion.

SS Edmund Fitzgerald was an American Great Lakes freighter that sank in a Lake Superior storm on November 10, 1975, with the loss of the entire crew of 29. When launched on June 7, 1958, she was the largest ship on North America's Great Lakes, and she remains the largest to have sunk there.

I have heard that before. It;s an interesting theory but not enough payoff for the risk involved, or the sheer level of catastrophe caused.

Someone might do a false flag for political reasons or trillions of dollars but this is pushing the limits of believability.
If it weren't for us you'd be speaking German. Instead, you'll be speaking Arabic.

If everything had worked out as they planned they were to be no casualties. The false Titanic was also purposely fitted with more lifeboats just to make sure everybody can escape.

The huge puncture that the "Titanic" got from sliding past the iceberg was what caused the disaster, the ship went down way faster than planned.

If it were a real scenario, there is no way the Titanic was ever going to hit the iceberg. The Titanic(and its sisters) were one of the few ships at the time that had a central propeller right behind the rudder, which allowed the ship to do insane turns. The whole ship could do a 180 in minimal distance.
