-Before North Africa was conquered by the Arabs, Maghreb (most of the northwestern African region: Morocco, Algeria, Tunisia) was inhabited by the Amazighen (Berbers). Compared to the Arabs, they usually have a lighter complexion and their eyes are often green or blue.
Today, a significant part of the North African population with Amazigh or Sephardic Jewish origins will have a pale skin and blue or green eyes, especially in Kabylia (Northern Algeria).
-The provinces of Quebec and New Brunswick were once populated by French colons. Some of them interbred with Native Canadians (First Nation peoples, as Canadians say ), and some others, especially in New Brunswick, with Scottish settlers. An important Haitian community lives in French Canada.
French North Africans
Zinédine Zidane (French football player of Algerian Kabylian "Northern Berber" descent
Gad Elmaleh (Moroccan Sephardic Jewish French stand-up comedian and actor)
Michel Boujenah (French actor of Sephardic Tunisian descent, comedian,[clarification needed] film director and screenwriter.)
A typical Kabylian Berber boy from Northern Algeria
French Canadians
Robert Charlebois (Francophone Canadian author, composer, musician, performer and actor)
Gilles Vigneault (Quebecer poet, publisher and singer-songwriter)
Roch Voisine (Acadian singer-songwriter, actor, and radio and television host)
Anthony Kavanagh (Francophone Haitian-Canadian stand up comedian, actor, singer and TV presenter)
I would definitely go for the North Africans
