I excluded Turkey, Caucasus, Levant, Mesopotamia, and Iran since those are obvious.

Out of the other nations, which can fit?

A varied bunch - most have a distinct look of their own, but they do range from Greek-like to Pakistani-like with different shades in between.

Inasmuch as they do overlap with Europeans (and I don't think more than a quarter or so would pass), surely it'd be with Greeks, South Italians and some Balkan groups.

I'd say at least half could pass in the more exotic regions -- Calabria, Sicily (especially inland), Crete, Dodecanese. But otherwise, yes.
