    USA, americans knows pseudo native american ancestry even if they didnt have. But here in Brazil many people dont even know how was their grandparents.

    Lana Turner looks (and is, unless someone can demonstrate otherwise) white. The only other ones I knew were Sonia Sotomayor and Jennifer Lopez.

    Lana Turner has no black ancestry and she doesn't look like she does. Anyway they can only trace English, Scottish and Irish. A lot of Americans say they have all kinds of ancestry but it doesn't necessarily mean they do.

    This is Lana before she became famous. There is no hint of black ancestry.

    That's just a lack of good records. Most people with colonial roots could probably trace their ancestry back 200+ years easily.

    I always thought Catholic countries had extremely detailed records. Genealogy is often easier to do in colonial Mexican than in colonial North America because the Catholic Church had a file on everyone.
