Why is consider offensive to post Spaniards that don't look mediterranean?

I think what Cristiano is trying to say is that blonde hair or light skin is not exclusive to being Nordic, but is in the minds of the people of Northern European descent on TA. I agree with him. A Spaniard can be blonde with light skin and not be Nordic. However, I do think that blonde is in a minority among Spaniards and most are brun/brunette.

A commonly claimed phenotype of such people is 'Sub-Nordid'. It's such a bogus classification it surprises me so many talk about it as their holy grail. It's like those Turks craving the 'Turanid' look they so often talk about.

Spain has the biggest percentage of mediterranean type in the world, I personaly do not care, or even i am intrested to see how the rest 5% of the country really looks like.

I think it's just that they sometimes overemphasize these "non mediterranean" looking spaniards, posting only them, and among them, only the "northern" looking part, not the non-white looking, that makes many people insulting spaniards. that's all.

They generally post crowds of Spaniards, without cherry picking.

That some people is disappointed to see that there are more "non-stereotypical Mediterranean" Spaniards than what they expect to fit some stereotype they have in mind, and interpret this as "wanting to make it look that Spaniards are Nordic" (when "non-Mediterranean" not necessarily equals "Nordic"), that's another story.

Spaniards on here, only claim that Spain is not particularly "different" compared with the rest of Europe, in having a majority of people who would not stand out as "dark and exotic" in most of Europe (without need of being Nordics), and decent amounts of them having blondish hair tones and colored eyes (without necessarily those traits being majority).

Those who troll Spaniards always come with the agenda (in a direct or in a more subtle way) of portraying Spaniards as particularly "exotic", "dark" and "different" from other Europeans, and when Spaniards deny that stereotypical bullshit, they are accused of pretending that Spain is like Norway, lol.
