Thanks a lot, this will be useful information. Seems like most of the people who went to Egypt and other North African and Middle Eastern countries were from Herzegovina, which explains the lack of Bosniak population in these parts today. It would be interesting to find these people today and hear their stories.

Yugoslav partisans believer in the chetnik ideology, but could not display it openly because otherwise they couldn't recruit naive Croats and Bosniaks, which were necessary for victory. We shouldn't make a difference between a Serb and a chetnik, the two are exactly the same thing.

Do you know if there is recent immigration, like during the 20th century? I know there are Bosniaks in Lybia from the times Yugoslav companies were implanted there.

It's quite interesting that people from the Balkans emigrated to North Africa and the Middle East. Usually we only hear about the ones living in "the West".

The country with the biggest number of Bosniaks is not Bosnia, but Turkey. Over 2 million of us there. If Bakir is so close to Erdogan, I'm sure he can visit our people there sometime?

many nationalities lived in Egypt from Balkan people , Italians , Greeks , French , etc.. if you had the chance to visit Egypt , go to Alexandria and ask for houses and buildings of European refugees and citizens.
