Most people are uneducated or apolitic so they dont follow as much as Russians or other Euros follow news. Also Turkey is a country even more diverse than Russia with deep ethnic, sectarian, racial, cultural, ideological division lines so never all people in this country all have one same view on a subject. We Türks are the biggest ethnic group who give country it's name, identity, culture.
So I will answer your question from my people's perspective. We are not anti or pro Russian, we just look at the situation, we act by looking at our interests. We care for our brothers the Crimean Tatars so their wellness is our psycho well ness. We consider Russia as a potential power to balance the influence of the West. So we are on the wait and see mode when it comes to our view of Russia.
