Not all, but a good amount aren't clearly from Piedmont, others could be of SI descent by their maternal line.

If I was Italian (southern or northern) I'd say it, I'm not a coward like you, OTH, there isn't in all Europe swarthier people than Vallisoletanos and Zamoranos (people from Valladolid/Zamora) as you well know. It was in those provinces where a lot of muslim converts of North African origin have stayed until now.
