Your TA friend list

How did your TA friend list come about? How and why did you become friends? Was it because you were drawn to certain personalities? Did you share the same values/politics? They're just hot? Were of the same ethnicity/race?

For the sake of a discussion please don't state the obvious "I just sent/accepted friend requests"

When looking at my own friend list, I noticed that they all came from very different ethnic backgrounds, personalities, ideals, politics and beliefs. But a few things they had in common were:
1. They all look good (this one is just coincidence, promise I wasn't hunting their pictures down)
2. They had very pronounced, strong personalities, they all believe what they believe and stick to it.
3. Some of them are very good, close friends who've followed me around
4. Some of them are outcasts here (a lot of them seem to be the target of bullying, abuse and insults like being called "retarded" yet they just carry on like champs
5. Some of them are really nice people online (which is probably how they really are since the meanest people are usually the meanest on the internet)
6. And some of them are genuine badasses in every sense of the word who can fight an army of trolls through wit alone.

TA is like high school. Except I don't have to eat lunch in physics class on C and D Day cuz they fucked up my class schedule Senior year. In that way TA is more tolerable.

I'm not much interested in the friends feature on internet forums. I don't see people on internet forums as a part of my social circle. The only people on my facebook are people I know in real life (irl friends, family, work colleagues). I also prefer real-life interactions over socializing with strangers on the internet.

My TA friends are people that have friended me. We tend to share similar world views, I've noticed. Some provide interesting information from areas of the world I'm interested in for genealogical purposes: Russia, Ukraine, Poland, other Slavic countries most especially.

I have ZERO interest in classifications, but I don't begrudge others who find this interesting. I don't care if people are Baltids, Meds, or Albino white with laser blue eyes and white hair with white scalps. lol

I agree with others, A LOT of what transpires on TA reminds me of 9th grade high school. Especially the immature boys with raging hormones. WHO WANTS TO REMEMBER THAT?

Marusya, are you like, you know, doing anything tomorrow? Cuz like I was thinking if you weren't we could like, you know, hang out at the mall and stuff? My cousin works at the movie theater. He could totally hook us up with a free movie. If you're not like, you know, busy tomorrow or whatever...

Eh, just come over. We can make a fire in the fireplace, get drunk, make ridiculous turkey sandwiches and listen to crazy music. I'll just send my bf to Home Depot. Like I did today.
