Question Why is there more Anti-Native than Anti-Black racism in Latin America...

Considering that Amerindians were far more civilized than Sub-Saharans ever have been? I know one Mayan-German guy from the U.S. and he is more proud of his Mayan ancestry than of his European. But in Latin America it seems that having Native admixture is considered more shameful than having Negroid genes.

    Why is that ???

They're only true of aztecs, Mayas, and incas the rest barely had a civilization. Blacks were assimilated well natives still exist so less romantism of them.

I don't know how you came to that conclusion. In mainland Hispanic Latin America it is more acceptible to have Amerindian ancestry than negroid ancestry.

I'm not sure the premise of this question is true, but I think that prejudice in Latin America is largely directed towards the main "subaltern" group present in the territory.

So in places like Brazil, Cuba. Puerto Rico, and the DR it is African ancestry that is more stigmatised.

Whereas in the rest of Latin america, it is likely the opposite because it is Amerindians that were historically oppressed and seen as inferior in those countries.

Anecdotally, I'd say that in Puerto Rico there is some petty discrimination against Black people (though certainly not overwhelming).

For example, when I visit friends that live in another gated community I am always just waved through by the guards. Whereas they tend to stop noticeably African people and ask them what they are doing, who they are visiting, how long they're staying, etc. Would the same thing happen to a dark mestizo person? Maybe - but there aren't enough of them for discrimination against them to be a notable thing (just as there are not enough highly African people in places like Mexico for anti-black racism to be a noteworthy phenomenon).

    You're wrong, Mexicans are native-centric.

The Battle of San Pasqual was a military encounter that occurred during the Mexican-American War in what is now the San Pasqual Valley community of the city of San Diego, California. On December 6 and December 7, 1846, the Californios, and their Presidial Lancers, led by General Don Andres Pico, (1810-1876), defeated Stephen W. Kearny´s US Army column of 150 men.

Cause blacks are incorporated into the national identities, amerindians still live excluded from society and their identities are at odds with the national ones. they are simply prisoners in their own land.

    LOL

It´s not a shame to have native american ancestry . After all that's one of the roots in Latin America.

Negroids have nothing to see with America they should return to Africa.

Not the case in Chile btw.

Maybe it was the case 10 years ago when there was no Black people in Chile whatsoever..

But now there are many Haitians, Dominicans and Colombians, and there's far more discrimination against them than against Peruvians or Bolivians I think.
