Most Hospitable: Swedes, followed Closely by Icelanders and Norwegians.
Least Hospitable: Finns, but the people my own age were generally friendly.
Both these examples are from smaller communities as well, towns of <50k people or tiny villages.

I didn't expect it but I found the english very friendly and helpful.
In the rest of Europe the hospitality and friendly skills are disgusting. Europe is full of stupids. Maybe only the villages have nice people.

Good experience : England, US, Germany, France (!) , Italy
average: Ireland (they aren't as open as you think) , Romania, Canada
Bad experience: Slovenia, Austria, Croatia
least hospitable : Czech Republic
most hospitable / least hospitable at the same time : Bosnia-Herzegovina. I met extremely friendly and extremely hostile people there. Country of contrasts.
In general central Europeans are the least hospitable bunch. Hungary is island of warmth in the region

Least Hospitable: Cant tell because I wasnt in many places yet outside Austria and Im long enough in Austria to have seen hospitable and unhospitable people. Cant tell how it is for someone who is only vacation here.
