And then some tourist trap boutiques in Prague sell these ugly Soviet bear hats and matrioshki. You would want to slap any idiot buying those in the face.

The movie Hostel painted a worse picture of Slovakia than Eurotrip imo.

The people make Europe but the politics is all wrong as usual.
“For we wrestle not against flesh and blood, but against principalities, against powers, against the rulers of the darkness of this world, against spiritual wickedness in high places.” Eph. 6:12
Definition of untrustworthy and loose character are those that don't believe in God.

There is no "European" identity to me. We are talking about a place so diverse with so many groups, that saying "European" is only marginally better than using the term "human" to describe an identity. It is something technically true, but is so broad that in practice and practicality it means next to nothing. The only thing I can think of that could be generally described as a "European" identity that is commonly used is the "white" concept used most in the USA. However, even that identity doesn't function well within itself as it has been historically in flux throughout the centuries. For example, the US government considers Arabs "white" on their census, but in practice most Christian Anglo-Americans would never consider them "white" like they would an Englishman. The only way there could be a European identity is if we all lost our rich cultures and heritages in the bland soup that is the EU super-state.
