I don't really like them but for the most part I am pro because the only alternatives seem to be Merkel-type crazy people not moderate leftists.

Like I'm not die-hard Right-wing or anything. The Left used to be respectable, but the crazy people pushed me (and many others) to the 'New Right' aka Trump, Le Pen, Farage, etc.

basically modern Right is made up of old, common-sense Leftists that are no longer accepted in Leftist circles for having common-sense opinions.

That's a cliché Morty, I don't think any of so called nationalist parties in Europe with relevant expression are anti well integrated minorities. In Western Europe there's no party that extremist. The problem is that there's to many minorities unwilling to integrate, so let's make a clear distinction about it.

I dont think gypsies are well integrated minority,they are the most hated minority, in many countries they built walls around roma neighbourhoods/settlements and and often a mob would burn their homes like in Italy or Bulgaria. I dont know if they are unwilling to integrate or too stupid or inherited situation which is since centuries like that. But sentiment in Europe is not good for ROma they are even more hated then the Muslims, only very far left people are supportive of roma in germany only "Die Linke" and maybe the "Greens" not even centrist parties like Roma. Like SPD Or Merkel CDU

To be 'integrated' you need to stop being Roma and become just European. There is no other way.

People would reject a assimilation with roma, because they see roma as dirty and unclean and impure. They wouldnt assimilate with roma (including race mixing which is part of assimilation)

I don't know on detail about how well Roma are integrated in other countries Mortimer (always heard from Portuguese gypsies that German tziganen are usually well integrated). But i know that's not the case in many European countries. Anyway do you find yourself badly or well integrated regarding the majority of Roma people you know.?

I for example have some gypsy friends who we don't even think of them as gypsy because they are just like one of us, and they don't give a crap about that tribalistic BS and traditions that most gypsies still hold on to. And that's how things work, if you make an effort to integrate you'll be rewarded by your effort and people (most not all) will respond positively to it.

I think Im well integrated. Thats my opinion others might disagree. I think Roma should be integrated, there is no excuse, I think they to large part guilty themselfes, that they dont make enough effort, but I think with a liberal government and liberal society it will be easier for them to integrate. I think Right Wingers wouldnt care much about their integration they would force them out or force them on the outskirts of societies and built a wall around them.

I don't know the mindset of people in Eastern Europe regarding gypsies etc. But i can guarantee that here if you act like a local and integrate well in the community you will be accepted as so. Unfortunately it's a reality that many gypsies still have that tribalistic mentality that prevents them from advancing further, but those who don't are just like any other people and fully integrated.
