Most of them look just like Iranians. What is noticeable is how lighter Iranic people often can pass in the Caucasus and sometimes even the Balkans.

I seem to have been talking for nothing . there is no uniform "iranic people" ...there are big differences .

I was referring to the incipient argument between Big Smoke and Owright Govnah. Anyway, I know that Afghanistan and Iran have lots of different ethnic groups, but it is noticeable how there is a small but significant continuum all the way from Zagreb to Kabul. By contrast, imo lighter Levantines and Arab groups tend to resemble Cypriots and even sometimes Southern Italians and Maltese more than they do Caucasians and Balkanites.

Afghanistan do have different ethnic groups, but the main ones are Pashtuns and Tajiks.

I dont think it is possible to generalize this . it depends on the person how he/she looks . such statements are mostly a result of biased thoughts ...aka ..."oh south italians get Lebanese sometimes in their oracle , cpyrus is next to the levant , iran borders the caucasus , caucasus people often look like balkan people , so "light" levantines look south italian and cypriot (as if cypriots are sooo light yeah ) and light "iranic pepuul" look balkan!"

I respect your opinion though of course. but I noticed that some thoughts will actually never change ...it is impossible . the only way to solve such ignorance (I dont mean you but talking in general) is to meet many people of different ethnicities and even better to travel

OK I get what you're saying, but I still think that Iranians and Afghans are mostly quite easy to distinguish from Arab groups - be they Levantines, Iraqis or Gulf Arabs - and instead look more like Caucasus people a lot of the time.

Yeah I agree. I made this thread to educate and enlighten, not so that people could fight. Let's all ignore any trolls and keep the discussion rolling. I don't see why whiteness is even mentioned in a thread about south-central asians anyways. We're not white .
