You are right. I forgot about Ali Pasha and his son Ibrahim Pasha. They backed the Ottomans in the war against Greek patriots and I did not know they took part in Crimean War too.

I agree with you and i also respect all peoples who fought in defense of their family, home, country. But a crusade was an Holly War. People always use religion, ideologie, etc, because they want to hide their real intention, economic interests.
Let me give you an example. The Nazi Germany attacked Soviet Union and they considered this as a "crusade" against communists. Is this true? Of course there is something true in this. But the real reason was not this. The real reason was looting of natural resources and raw materials and the transformation of people into slaves. The soviets fought, defending their country. This war was called a Patriotic War. Was this war really patriotik? Of course was in the beggining a patriotic war. But after that soviets liberated their country they started to "liberate" the east European countries and also they started their "crusade" for spreading the communism in Europe and world. In this way, East Europe was invaded by soviets.
The same was with the real crusades. This how roll the world for millenia. It's always the same game.
