As for your earlier point, I agree. Future will tell how this ends up, both sides can see it as a win depending on their view of Macedonia. For the Macedonian nationalists who wanted a "pure" Macedonian state this is a loss, while for the Macedonians that want a Switzerland type state this is a win. For Albanians that wanted Ali Ahmeti to have a higher income this is a loss, for those Albanians that wanted the Albanian cause to advance this is a win.
Merrily to illustrate the conflicts among Macedonians influenced by outside. I don't see winners or losers I just see a reflection of reality.

I honestly think even Slavophone Macedonians themselves are tired of these so called plans. As of a ''pure'' Macedonia, that is the biggest oxymoron yet.

After the Albanian areas, you find the Vlach settlements (Tose Proeski, Kaliopi), brainwashed Turks (God knows what they are), self hating Muslim Macedonians (Yasha torbesh baba),
Shuto Orizari Gypsies (R.I.P. Esma Redzepova), Serb pockets in northwest (Lele brate ova e Srbija, znaeme), non-comformist Bulgarians (Site ovie ''Tatari'', duri i ako tie se nasite tatkovci) and let us not forget the Turkish Yoruks in far east (They are blonde and blueyed, long lost Slavs!!!), this is what makes Македонија in a way beautiful.

But rights for these people have long been overdue, it is obvious the ''Slavic'' character of the area is failing... Another suicidal tendency is why people even voted for Gruevski, but well.

    This is just my opinion:
There were three groups of voters as flows:
    1. Voters for VMRO DPMNE
    2. Voters against Gruevski as a person.
    3. Voters voting for their parties as an obligation coming from membership.

The first group: the people who believe in the idea of Macedonian homogenization
The second group: many Albanians and Macedonians (from the "great silent majority") who voted for SDSM. That was actually voting against Grueveki not for SDSM. Gruevski is perceived as a Dictator and needs to step down.

We shall see but i doubt it because Albanians have punished him exactly for that.

That is not about politics, all is about business. No matter what the Albanians want it will be so.

If Ahmeti forms coalition with Gruevski it will lead to unrest and future uncertainty, this is his last chance to survive on political scene or perhaps survive as individual because we will never know what consequences might follow after decision to form coalition with VMRO.

Pretty much summed in the first three points. If Gruevski cared about national homogenization, he wouldn't have been a total twat.
He is clearly not only a threat to Slavic Macedonian interests with his false megalomania, but also to all populations native to Macedonia.

I know very well people in Macedonia, irregardless of descent want change and want better options for themselves and the future.
Zaev is a very promising character who is the closest to such ideal and does not rely on outdated Balkan nationalism in order to run a nation.
